WKO OPEN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Fullcontact Karate Championship

We are honored to invite your club to participate in the WKO Open National Championship, a Fullcontact Karate competition held under the rules of the Fullcontact Karate Organization and organized by the National Shinkyokushinkai Karate Federation of Moldova.

The competition is intended for children, cadets, juniors, seniors and veterans and will include the following divisions:

Advanced – A (8th kyu and above)
Beginners – B (ungraded, 10th kyu and 9th kyu)

All children born between 2021 and 2016 will be awarded and will be grouped into categories of 3–4 participants.

Beginners in the 2015–2014 age group and older will be grouped into categories of a maximum of 8 participants.

The maximum number of athletes in an Advanced category will be 12 participants.

Event Overview

📍 Venue: Chișinău Arena, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova

The competition is open to martial arts clubs from any Kyokushin Karate organization, style or martial arts system whose athletes wish to compete under full-contact rules.

Participation Fees

• Kumite: 800 MDL (40 EUR)
• Kata: 500 MDL (25 EUR)
• Kumite + Kata: 1000 MDL (50 EUR)

Awards

• 1st place: Trophy, Medal and Diploma
• 2nd place: Trophy, Medal and Diploma
• 3rd place: Trophy, Medal and Diploma
• Two 3rd places will be awarded.

The Kumite categories are provisional and may be adjusted depending on the number of registered athletes and their body weight.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

All direct kicks to Jodan level are permitted for all age categories in accordance with the rules of the Fullcontact Karate Organization.

Registration

Each participating club must provide:

• Official registration information
• Valid identification documents or sports licenses
• Medical certificate confirming fitness for full-contact competition
• Parental/legal guardian consent for athletes under 18 years of age
• At least one referee certified by the Federation
