Batumi Open 2025

The International Full Contact Karate Tournament – “Batumi Open-2025” for U12; U14; U16; U18 and “Grand Prix” for Adults Open Category will take place on 25 and 26 of October in Batumi, GEORGIA. Batumi Sports Palace, named of Mukhran Vakhtangadze. (3000 Capacity, Address: N 15 Leonidze str., Batumi, Georgia;)

23/24.10.2024 Thursday: Arrival of Teams, Guests, invited Referees, Officials and Participants

12:00 - 17:00 weight and medical control;

17:00 - Referee team seminar;

19:00 - Draws;

20:00 - Georgia-Hosting Country Welcome Reception. GFKNF (Georgian Fullcontact Karate National Federation) and Ministry of Sport of Georgia, Welcome Dinner for Special Guests, VIP, CR and BC.

All meetings will take place in the Official Hotel

25.10.2025 Saturday: 10:00 – Start of Tournament 1st day: U12; U14; U16 and U18 categories

14:00 – 15:00 Lunch Break

15:00 – Opening Ceremony

16:00 – Semi Finals and Finals

19:00 – Awarding Ceremony

26.10.2025 Sunday: 11:00 – Start of Tournament 2nd day: Adults +18 Open

15:00 – Semi Finals and Finals

16:00 – Closing and Awarding Ceremony

20:00 – Sayonara Party (only for adults +18)

27.10.2027 Monday: Check-out and Departure.

Financial conditions:

a) Accommodation, flight tickets, transportation and meals for all participants shall be covered by Country Organization or Club or participant himself;

b) The participation, entry fee – 30 Euro;

c) Accommodation costs for invited Teams of National Organizations, of foreign delegations: “Grand Prix” Participants only Adults of Open Category-fighters; 1-referee; 1-coach; 1-Official – only for Branch Chief, or Country Representative/President of Federation shall be covered by Host Organization (3 /three/nights 24-25-26 of October 2025) with breakfast, in Official Hotel 4**** “Ibis Styles Batumi”(Address: N 5B Lech and Maria Kaczynski str., Batumi, GEORGIA www.all.accor.com);

d) Special price with of sales discounts in Official Hotel: single room 70 Euro; Double/Twin room for 2 two persons. Per person/night = 35 Euro; Triple room for 3 three persons. Per person/night = 30 Euro, with breakfast.

e) The sayonara party for +18 all Adults participants, Referees, 1-Coach and 1-Official head of delegation is free of charge. unlimited for participants and attendees of the tournament, sayonara party = 30 euro.

f) Organizational costs of the Tournament will be covered by the GFKNF (Georgian Fullcontact Karate National Federation) and Sports Department of Adjara region;

g) Supporters of the event are Ministers of Sport of Georgia and a./r. of Adjara region.

Conditions for participating in the Championship for fighters and coaches:

All competitors are requested to present:

- Written medical certificate (in English) indication that he/she is physically fit and healthy and his/her insurance documents. This medical certificate must not be older than 3 months (women are requested to present written certificate of non-pregnant state);

- Protection men: Groin Protection; Mouth Protection (optional);

Official Invitation of International Full Contact Karate Tournament – “Batumi Open-2025” for U12; U14;

U16; U18 and “Grand Prix” for Adults Open Category.

- Protection women: Breast Protection (only the cup type is allowed, white); Shin Protection; Mouth Protection (optional);

- Protection U14; U16: Additional hand protection. Protective helmet will be provided by the organizer. The Coach must wear the national team uniform.
